• Operate/use (almost) ready PANDA components

• with the participation of members of the PANDA Collaboration
• Give participating groups NOW access to experimental data using the operational PANDA components
• Demonstrate their functionality, properties, and performance
• Determine and optimize the detector design under realistic conditions
• Extract detector properties from commissioning experiments at an early stage
• Improve and develop simulation and analysis software for PANDA using experimental data
